Professor Craig Butts – Meet the Lecturer
We're really excited to launch a brand new series of events for the term! Every Thursday at 7pm we'll be interviewing one of our lecturers and challenging them with your questions!

First up: it's Professor Craig Butts! We all know Craig from his NMR lectures, and we can't wait to learn more about his kids... (and research). We'll have a nice chat to get to know him better - and we hope you'll enjoy it!
Craig is Professor of Structural and Mechanistic Chemistry. "My research interests mix NMR spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations to determine 3D molecular structure and dynamics. More recently my group started finding really cool ideas and applications for machine learning as well (which, quite frankly, I never thought I'd say 3 years ago!)."
